Międzynarodowe śledztwo dziennikarskie wskazuje, że współpraca wojskowa Rosji i Chin jest znacznie bardziej zaawansowana, niż dotąd sądzono. Według ustaleń niemieckiego tygodnika „Der Spiegel”, rosyjskiego serwisu „The Insider” i francuskiego dziennika „Le Monde”, oba państwa rozwijają wspólne projekty zbrojeniowe oraz przygotowują rozwiązania wymierzone w zachodnią infrastrukturę.

Dziennikarze dotarli do tajnych dokumentów, z których wynika, że Moskwa i Pekin współpracują nie tylko w zakresie technologii podwójnego zastosowania, ale także prowadzą rozmowy dotyczące wspólnych działań militarnych. Zdaniem autorów śledztwa podważa to deklarowaną przez Chiny neutralność wobec wojny w Ukrainie.

Według „Der Spiegel” podczas tajnego spotkania w Moskwie w 2023 roku przedstawiciele rosyjskiego i chińskiego przemysłu zbrojeniowego uzgodnili rozpoczęcie prac nad nową generacją systemu obrony powietrznej i przeciwrakietowej. Ma on być zdolny do zwalczania pocisków balistycznych oraz hipersonicznych.

Dokumenty wskazują również, że Rosja i Chiny chcą stworzyć wspólną strategię przeciwdziałania systemowi Starlink, który odgrywa kluczową rolę w łączności ukraińskich sił zbrojnych. Wśród rozważanych metod mają znajdować się cyberataki, zakłócanie sygnału oraz wykorzystanie technologii laserowych i mikrofalowych. Według autorów śledztwa Chiny mają także wspierać Rosję, udostępniając rozwiązania umożliwiające łączność internetową wykorzystywaną do sterowania dronami.

Z ujawnionych materiałów wynika ponadto, że współpraca wojskowa obu państw trwa od kilku lat. Rosja i Chiny mają wspólnie rozwijać systemy wykrywania i przechwytywania nowoczesnych pocisków hipersonicznych oraz budować zintegrowane systemy dowodzenia i kontroli rakiet.
