Porwanie i wymuszenie w Ajaxie. Dwóch zatrzymanych

Policja regionu Durham poinformowała o postawieniu licznych zarzutów dwóm mężczyznom w związku ze śledztwem dotyczącym porwania i wymuszenia, do których doszło w miejscowości Ajax.

Zdarzenie miało miejsce 25 października 2025 r. Kierowca świadczący usługi transportowe został poproszony o przewiezienie dwóch osób z Ajaxu do Montrealu. Na miejscu trzech napastników miało zaatakować mężczyznę i – grożąc bronią palną – zmusić go do przesiadki do innego pojazdu.

Ofiara została następnie zawieziona do bankomatu i zmuszona do wypłacenia gotówki. Policja podkreśla, że w wyniku incydentu nikt nie odniósł obrażeń.

14 lutego funkcjonariusze zatrzymali dwóch z trzech podejrzanych.
Victor Antonio Nunez Ceja (32 lata) z Toronto usłyszał zarzuty porwania, wymuszenia, rabunku, użycia broni palnej oraz zajęcia pojazdu mechanicznego z bronią palną.
Jose Emmanuel Gonzalez Villa (32 lata), również z Toronto, został oskarżony o analogiczne przestępstwa.

Obaj mężczyźni pozostają w areszcie po rozprawie w sprawie kaucji. Śledztwo trwa.
